"Heal the environment, heal our bay"
Heal the Bay is dedicated to promote awareness and attain safe, healthy and clean waters along the southern California coastal waters.
Heal the Bay came into existence when concerned citizens took collective action to recover the coastal environment as Santa Monica Bay was treated as a dump site. In over 20 years of dedicated research, education and community action, Heal the Bay actively engages in protecting natural resources and cleaning up polluted waters to bring back safe waters with active support of over 10,000 members.
